Yet Another Zombie Survivors Official Trello Roadmap

The studio's public board, not a fan-made kanban.

Trello Roadmap

Awesome Games Studio keeps a public Trello for Yet Another Zombie Survivors. It is the honest “what are you working on” page, including spoiler-ish columns. Open the YAZS roadmap board when you want remaining work in their words. This article is only how to read it after 1.0.

What the board was for during Early Access

The studio is openly bad at dates. They said so. The board replaced yellow Steam promises. Community votes also live on Discord. Features such as Zombiepedia already shipped because players asked. Online play was always a later-maybe, not a 1.0 pillar. This game is still single-player squad combat.

What 1.0 likely already ate

Ranger, a new map, a hub, story, prestige, extra tree ranks, and a real boss mode were on the public preview for months. If a card still sits in “planned” on the day you read this, check the in-game HUB before you assume it is missing. Then check version 1.0. Trello cards lag behind launch day more often than the other way around.

How this wiki uses it

We do not clone columns. We link. If a card says a tenth survivor is in progress, the unlock checklist will gain a row when the tooltip exists. If a card says a map hazard is changing, maps will change. If a card is labeled spoiler, this page will not paste the spoiler.

Etiquette

Do not demand dates in the comments. Do not treat a card as a legal contract. Do not harass the small Polish studio that also made Yet Another Zombie Defense. Use Discord votes. Use F8. Use the Steam discussions if you want a thread instead of a card.

If Trello is down, Steam news and the in-game patch notes are the backup. The Updates Hub is the fan translation. The Links Hub is the rest of the doors.

If you only came here because Google said “YAZS Trello,” you now have the board URL and the warning: 1.0 already shipped the headline cards. Read the board for leftovers, not for whether the game exists.

How a player should actually use the columns

Open the board once after a patch, not every morning. Look for cards that mention survivors, maps, or modes. Ignore art tasks unless you collect wallpapers. If a card is in Done and the loadout screen still hides the silhouette, you are not behind — the build you launched may be a day late, or the card was checked early. Play Isolated City. Hover the icon.

If a card mentions a boss per map, that is the arena-boss promise from the 0.9 preview. 1.0 said those bosses shipped. If your Bio Lab run never shows a named finale, you may still be in Default rather than the rebuilt Boss Rush. Mode names matter. The maps walkthrough is the decoder ring.

If a card mentions extra skill-tree ranks, refund Training and look at the right edge of a survivor tree. Empty nodes are either locked account level or a rank you have not earned as leader. Training explains the difference. Do not farm Trello comments for node costs. The node is on your screen.

If a card mentions story, remember it is optional. The HUB is a camp, not a visual novel requirement. If you hate reading, skip NPCs and keep dawning. If you like reading, take a quest that forces a survivor you never ranked. That is the only Trello-adjacent advice that changes a run.

Steam news still wins when a number changes. Trello still wins when you want to see unfinished verbs. This wiki still wins when you want to know whether to take Engineer into the ring. Keep all three bookmarks. Close Trello before the run so you actually move.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Is the Trello official?

Yes. Awesome Games Studio posts the public roadmap there.

Does 1.0 empty the board?

It should eat the headline cards. Leftovers and post-launch ideas can still sit in columns.

Should I wait for a Trello date to buy?

No. 1.0 launched 20 August 2026. The board is for leftovers, not for whether the game is out.
