Platforms and Settings

Yet Another Zombie Survivors 1.0 launched on 20 August 2026 at 11:00 UTC on Steam, GOG, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. The base price stayed $14.99. An introductory Steam discount ran at launch (35 percent, listed as ending 3 September 2026 — check the live widget). A Nintendo Switch version is confirmed after that day, not on that day. This page is the store-shelf article: platforms, demo, PC specs, Steam Deck, and the Display / Interface options the hotfixes added so your FPS and cursor stop lying. Buying taste lives on the 1.0 review. Combat still starts on Getting Started. Handheld detail lives on Steam Deck. The free slice lives on demo. There is still no co-op: co-op.

The console announcement trailer in the middle of this article is the official Awesome Games Studio clip from December 2024. It is not a 1.0 gameplay tutorial. Use it to see that PlayStation and Xbox were always part of the 1.0 plan. Then come back here for what actually shipped in August 2026.

PC, GOG, and Steam Deck

Steam remains the default wiki assumption. GOG shipped the same 1.0 day without Steamworks. Saves do not cross stores. If you own both, you own two accounts. Steam Deck was Verified during Early Access; 1.0 kept the controller-first loop. After 1.0.0b, gameplay interfaces are no longer glued to 60 FPS — raise Max FPS in Display to match the dock or the built-in panel. After 1.0.0c, PC Options gained an FPS Counter under Interface and Hide Build Version (which also hides the F8 feedback line where it appears).

Steam minimum: 64-bit Windows 7/10/11 (the Steam client itself wants Windows 10+), an i5-4670K-class CPU, 8 GB RAM, a GeForce 970-class GPU, 6.5 GB disk. Recommended: Ryzen 5 3600-class CPU, GeForce 2060-class GPU, same 8 GB and 6.5 GB. Linux appears via SteamOS 3.0 in the store API sheet. If late swarms hitch, CPU matters more than cranking textures. Delete old Early Access .ini FPS hacks after 1.0.0b and let the game write fresh files.

PlayStation and Xbox

PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Series launched with PC. Demos exist on Xbox and PlayStation as well as Steam. Cloud saves follow each platform’s account, not a shared Awesome Games ID. Aim and fire toggles still exist; the DualSense / Xbox stick is the intended loop. Leaderboards exist per arena and difficulty; 1.0.0b made Bio Lab selectable on that picker. On PC, 1.0.0c added Speed up / Slow down hotkeys under Remap Controls — any speed below 100 percent disables leaderboards. Console players should not hunt a keyboard bind that is not on their overlay.

Nintendo Switch (and Switch 2)

Switch is not on the 20 August simultaneous list. The studio said the port needs more work than they estimated and hoped for launch-day or soon after. There is still no public eShop date on this wiki’s facts file. Do not trust a random blog that prints a Tuesday. Nintendo also blocked uploading a Switch demo before the full game is ready; the promised Switch demo arrives with or after the full build, not months early. Switch 2: the studio said they were not yet approved for Switch 2 development and would likely do a separate release or upgrade once a kit exists. Treat that as a hope, not a SKU.

Demo, accessibility, and Display after the hotfixes

Play the Steam, Xbox, or PlayStation demo before you buy if you hate auto-shooters. The demo is not the full Camp, Ranger at Survival Level 175, or Bio Lab endgame. It is the loop test: move, vacuum gems, accept two rescues.

Accessibility already included controller support, color alternatives, custom volume, interface scaling, keyboard-only and mouse-only. 1.0.0b added a Display toggle for cursor stick-to-window; 1.0.0c flipped the PC default back to unlocked because locked cursors punished multi-monitor setups. 1.0.0c also smoothed interface hitching, moved achievement toasts so they do not collide with system overlays, and retuned volume so 5 percent is actually quiet. 1.0.0c2 shows a popup when you change game speed on PC; hotkey speed lasts that run only. Permanent speed is Accessibility.

PEGI 16 for violence and language. Blood can be reduced. F8 still wants an email if you file a report.

How this wiki splits the rest

Maps and modes are not platform features. Isolated City still teaches dawn on every SKU: Survive until dawn. Hardcore is still ten mean minutes: How to beat Hardcore. Ranger still waits on Survival Level 175: farm Survival Level. The Camp still feeds Team Bond: Friendship / Team Bond. If a friend asks “is it on Switch,” send this page, not a 2024 trailer comment. If they ask “why is my UI 60 FPS,” send the hotfix page and then this Display section.
