Yet Another Zombie Survivors Tools
Plan the trio and tick the counters before you drop into Isolated City.
Guides tell you how a dawn feels. Tools let you pick names and tick boxes without rereading a thousand words. This hub has two helpers. The squad planner is a three-slot picker with synergy notes for the 1.0 roster. The unlock checklist is the survivor, map, and mode list in the order they usually open.
Neither tool replaces a run. They replace the moment you stare at the loadout screen and forget whether Ghost needs bosses or kits. They also exist so the Guides Hub can stay prose.
When to use the planner
Use it when you own more than three survivors and you keep taking Medic because the portrait is friendly. Use it when you want to see why SWAT / Engineer / Tank is still the S recipe. Use it before Bio Lab if you are about to lead an unranked Ranger. Click through, then take Isolated City to dawn. If the note says “duplicate slots,” listen.
The planner is not a damage simulator. It does not know your Training tree. Pair it with best squads and training.
When to use the checklist
Use it on a second monitor while you farm Huntress, Ghost, and Medic. Use it when a friend asks “how do I unlock the desert.” Use it after 1.0 if you cannot remember whether Boss Rush is per map. Tick in order. Do not tick Bio Lab before Isolated City dawn unless you enjoy fumes.
What we will not ship as a tool
No fake code redeemer. This is not that kind of game. No damage calculator that pretends cooldown zero is legal. No interactive map that lies about worm spawn tables. If the studio ships a better Zombiepedia panel, we will link it from the Links Hub instead of cloning it badly.
If a tool page and a guide disagree, the guide plus the in-game tooltip win. These pages are helpers for the 20 August 2026 roster, not a second rules engine.
Use best squads when the planner note is too short. Use how to unlock survivors when a checklist row needs a story. Use Getting Started when you have not moved yet. Tools are the sticky notes on the monitor. Isolated City is still the exam.
