Story Missions Guide

Version 1.0, launched 20 August 2026, parked story in the Briefing Room after runs. There are fifteen consecutive main story missions. The first becomes available after your first completed run. Play on 1.0.0c2. You still steer a single-player squad of three. There is no co-op. There are no redeem codes. Nintendo Switch is planned and not released. Ranger unlocks at Survival Level 175. Story is optional. Skip it if you only want badges. Take it if you want Team Bond, the 1.0.0c name for Friendship, feeding shared Cash and Specialization up to a cap of 250.

The Camp loop lives on HUB and quests. The tracker and retry button live on the Mission Log. The meter lives on Team Bond. The skip-the-Camp toggle lives on Quick Run. This page is the fifteen names, what Prologos actually asks, and which personal lines we can verify without pasting dialogue.

The fifteen names in order

The first half borrows Greek theatre. The second half borrows virus and biology terms. Official spelling, in order: Prologos, Parodos, Stasimon, Exodus, Catharsis, Genesis, Growth, Troubles, Universal State, Desintegration (that spelling), Adsorption, Penetration, Replication, Assembly, Release. Release completes the main storyline. This wiki will not invent later mission walkthroughs we cannot verify. Hover in-game. Do not paste spoilers or dialogue here.

Prologos is Isolated City Default. Find a Black Box from an Item Chest, keep it equipped, finish the run. Black Box is an item, not a cutscene. If the chest will not spawn one, keep circling until it does; do not reverse into spit for a sparkle. Item rules live on items. If Isolated City Default still kills you, finish Getting Started first. Bio Lab is not Prologos. Do not take a first briefing onto the ring.

Later story missions gate on map and mode unlocks. If a brief wants Bio Lab, Isolated City, or a mode you do not own, decline it and retry from the Mission Log when the prerequisite is legal. A GPS Data Packets story objective could break at launch. Hotfix 1.0.0c2 patched it. If you chased that objective between 20 and 28 August 2026 and it failed to complete, retry on 1.0.0c2. Notes: hotfixes.

Personal lines and repeatables

There are forty-five personal missions, five per each of the nine survivors, plus nineteen repeatable side quests after a personal arc ends. Together with the fifteen story missions that is seventy-nine Camp chores. Personal examples we can print without dumping dialogue:

Engineer: Six Thinking Hats → SWOT Analysis → Heroic Theory → Trial and Error → Brainstorming. Huntress: React → Recollect → Relinquish → Readjust → Reinvest. Medic’s first personal is Trauma; hotfix 1.0.0c changed Trauma to two items, not three. Ranger: Seeding → Germination → Sprouting → Sapling → Flowering. Ranger’s line waits on Survival Level 175. Do not lead unranked Ranger into a clipboard that wants her as leader.

Story grants the largest Team Bond bumps and applies to the squad present. Personal lines grant per-survivor bumps. Repeatables are the unlimited drip. If you only want Isolated City badges, skip the board. Maps, modes, and almost every survivor still unlock in combat. Achievements may still poke you; the shape of that list lives on achievements. Roster gates live on how to unlock survivors.

Mission Log after 1.0.0c2

After 1.0.0c2 the Mission Log shows missions that are available but not yet offered. Returning to Camp after a run should offer a different mission. Read the brief, then you can switch and retry without playing the offered run first. That loop is why the Log exists. It does not teleport you mid-run. It does not let you skip ahead in the fifteen names. If a story mission is locked, the map or mode it wants is not legal on your account yet.

Quick Run skips Camp between grind runs. Turn it on when you are farming Huntress minutes or Ghost boss kills. Turn it off when a story mission is active and you need the clipboard. Mixing both is the honest week: accept a brief, Quick Run the combat, return to Camp for the next offer.

What story does not do

It does not add a fourth survivor. It does not add co-op. It does not replace Training refunds. It does not make Bio Lab a first farm. The chain is still Isolated City → Vile Wasteland → Green Hell → Dead Terminal → Bio Lab. Infinite is still thirty minutes of Endurance per arena. One Hit is still a five-minute joke exam. Story explains why the ring is toxic. It does not change SWAT’s rifle line.

Do not treat a Camp mission as a new minigame. If it says equip five items, that is a directed combat run. If it wants Ranger as leader before she has ranks, decline it and take the same objective as a rescue. If it wants Bio Lab Extermination, read Bio Lab first. The ring is a fail state Isolated City never taught.

If a briefing feels random, you ignored the Mission Log. Check available-but-not-yet-offered. Retry what you can finish today. Leave locked story on the ladder. The video in this article is a post-1.0 damage-build clip, not a spoiler reel. Use it for tone. Use Prologos for the first clipboard. Then go move.
